One Month Progress

30 days have passed and I've kept my commitment to juicing.   I have had a total of 3 "cheat times" which I am not going to scold myself for.  One night my boyfriend and I went out for food and I had a burger,  another night my mom and I made nachos,  and one night I indulge in some chips and dip and chocolates with some girlfriends.  I've realized little things like this aren't going to make or break my scale.  Its so unrealistic to say "I will never have junk food again."   It comes down to moderation.  I have learned that I don't need to have coke or pop every day after work,  I don't need to order takeout 3 times a week because cooking takes more effort.  I also don't need to give up really living life normally just to follow a strict diet.  Its about balance.

Since I started my juicing I really have never felt better.  I do have more energy, and I feel great.  I started to notice small little changes in my body even after the first week, and the annoying little pimples I would randomly get are slowly becoming less and less.  My number of headaches a week have dropped in half and the best thing is I am not continuously bloated.   I have the energy now to want to go to the gym and I've finally set myself in a routine of it.  When I started juicing I was hoping for a quick fix to help me loose the pouch,  but now I see it as more of an addition to my lifestyle.   I don't think I will always replace two meals forever with juice but I will however make appoint of having a glass a day.

As I am beginning to see more and more results my plan is to continue for the next month with replacing two meals a day and keeping with the habit of working out 3-4 times a week.

These are my progress pictures of the first month.  Still will continue to work on minimizing the stomach pouch, but I'm happy to see some progress and hope to continue making progress in the months to come.
